Hangover Hostels Mirissa

The location couldn't have been better, directly opposite the main beach and close to shops and restaurants. The staff were very good too make us feel welcome and were always there to help with anything we needed.

The hotel breakfast menu could have been better.

The location was perfect, just across from Marissa Beach. As a solo traveler, it was the ideal place to meet new people and have a great time. The hostel is also conveniently close to all the beach bars in Mirissa, making it easy and safe to enjoy the nightly parties. Despite a few minor drawbacks, I would definitely recommend this hostel to others. I had a fantastic stay!

For the price, the value was really good, with spacious and comfortable rooms equipped with lockers, chargers, and AC. The location was perfect, right by the beach, and the staff treated me with utmost friendliness and care.

Perfect location next to the beach, so I could get my tan on while watching some gnarly surfers. They even had bike and car hire, in case I wanted to escape this paradise.

Oh, the area is so popular for swimming, surfing, snorkeling, and diving that it's just too crowded. I had to share the beach with all those people, such a bummer.

The location right by the beach was perfect, and I loved the vibrant community vibe. One evening, the hostel organized a turtle nesting trip and it was an lovely experience. The restaurant served delicious hoppers at a reasonable price. I highly recommend Hangover Hostels for a nice stay in Mirissa.

The value for money at Hangover Hostels was excellent, and the room wasnice and neat with a good air-conditioner. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the beach and close to some great local restaurants.

Plus, the hostel offers a variety of daily activities and a rooftop yoga class, creating a lively and energetic atmosphere.

The communal feel that we were expecting was lacking, as the daily activity board was not updated and the rooftop yoga class never happened.

The location of the hostel was great, just a minute walk to the beach. the staff was friendly and helpful, giving me lots of information about the area. Plus, the free tea, coffee, and bananas in the morning were a nice touch.

One major downside was the noise from the common area and the nearby busy street. the room had poor sound insulation, so I could hear everything happening outside and the loud music playing till midnight.

The beds were super comfy and the lockers were spacious. The location was perfect, just a 2-minute walk from the beach. I loved using the hostel bicycles to explore Weligama for surfing. The communal spaces, especially the rooftop terrace with hammocks and beanbags, were great for socializing. I highly recommend this hostel for a fantastic stay.

I stayed at Hangover Hostels in Mirissa for a few days and had an amazing time. The location is perfect, right across from the beach, which is the best one we visited in Sri Lanka. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the hostel had a great rooftop terrace where you can relax and enjoy the view. The café served delicious meals throughout the day, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The keycard lock system was also a great feature. I highly recommend this hostel for a beach getaway with cool people.
